Appointments/Cancellation Policy
All appointments need to be secured with a credit card on the date you make your reservation. There will be no transaction held on the card before your appointment date. If you need to cancel, please do so earlier than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Appointments missed without the 24 hour notification will be billed the FULL fee for the scheduled services. We will email or text you the day before as a courtesy reminder to confirm your appointment. Need to cancel or reschedule? Call 828.277.4070.   Guests who do not give the requested notice of 24 hours, or that do not show up for their appointment, may be subject to a charge of the full appointment amount on their next visit in addition to services received that day, or may be asked to pay in advanced for all future appointments. These payments are non-refundable, and will not be applied to any future appointments if missed. Cancellations CAN NOT be done via text.

Services: We want you to love your hair and to satisfy any client who feels they need a tweak, just schedule the correction appointment WITHIN 10 DAYS of the original appointment. Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we can not offer refunds on services performed. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us immediately so that we can remedy the situation. We are happy to offer tweaks and adjustments within 10 days of the date of service.

**Appointments booked online for extensions or large blocks of time over three hours require payment during time of booking. For any circumstances that the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled less than 24hrs before the scheduled time or it is missed as a no-show, the payment is forfeited. We will require a new, full payment to rebook the cancelled or missed appointment.

Color Correction
If you need a color correction, please call us to schedule a consultation so that we can assess and make sure that we schedule the appropriate amount of time for this service. We charge by the hour and want to ensure we make sure you’re blissed out when you leave us.

Hair Product Guarantee - 100%
100% is just that. If you are unsatisfied for any reason with a hair product you purchased at Wink, we will happily exchange it or offer a store credit of another hair product ( excludes services) within 30 days of the purchase. Store credits are only applied to other hair products and not to salon services. We accept returns if the product is 3/4 full.

Calling and Emailing the Salon
We are a high volume salon and we do our very best to answer each phone call promptly. If we do not answer the phone, we are either on the other line or with another client.  We ask that you leave a detailed message and we will get back to you by the end of the business day. Please keep in mind calling multiple times or leaving multiple messages will only delay our returned phone call back to you. Email shop@ilovewink.com as an option.

Arrivals
To ensure promptness for all our guests please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.  We want to make sure that we have time to serve you well and want to protect you and the stylist's time. Please arrive on time and let us know if you’re going to be late. Don’t text and drive! We will do everything to accommodate you if you are late and if you’re REALLY late, please know that we may have to reschedule your appointment.

Consultations
Wanna chat about a style, color or service? Bring it! Our fee is $20 and should you make an appointment, that $20 will be deducted from the price of your next booked service.  Please call the salon to book your consult as we do not offer this booking online.

Kids
Due to the capacity of our salon we can only offer hair services to children 12 and older.  Adult pricing is applied.

Pets

We happily allow service animals to accompany their partner while visiting our salon. Animals or pets of any other kind are against regulations of the state of NC. Fines may be billed to any guest who opts to go against this state regulation.

Payment Methods
Wink accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover as well as cash, checks and debit cards.

Gift Certificates
Wink gift certificates are available all year and expire one year after the purchase date.

Gratuities
Our stylists graciously accept these only in cash or by check and checks should be written separately to the stylist. We also now offer a Venmo option (an online cash-sharing app powered by PayPal) if you would like to add a stylist gratuity but do not have a check or cash on hand.

Quick Note to Wedding Parties
We require a 50% non refundable deposit at the time of booking with a credit card. Any cancellations not made before 2 weeks of the scheduled date will result in the client being charged the FULL amount of booked services.  A 20% gratuity charge will be added to all wedding party services.
